Rebecca Brenner Graham is a John Nicholas Brown Research Associate in the Brown 2026 Presidential Initiative. She is the author of Dear Miss Perkins: A Story of Frances Perkins's Efforts to Aid Refugees from Nazi Germany (Kensington, 2025). She has a PhD in history from American University. Her writing has been published in The Washington Post, Smithsonian Magazine, Politico Magazine, Slate, and elsewhere.
